The Story…
How does a skinny New York City kid grow up to rub elbows with Will Smith, Magic Johnson, Denzel Washington, CEO’s, Politicians and other prominent figures? Simply, never define anything as IMPOSSIBLE. I didn’t mention high profile names to impress but to impress upon you that anyone can create there reality.
My bootstrapping began as a college student, where I was diagnosed with a entrepreneurial virus. One day, in my dorm (and penniless) I had an epiphany of how to create a few dividends. As a result, I began generating 5K-10K per month to organize what all students love…PARTIES! As nature would have it, my ambitions exploded. Over the years I wore many hats – concert promoter, sports agent, music manager, songwriter to marketing consultant.
As a entrepreneur I’ve been successful, I’ve failed and been successful again. Nothing in life, good or bad I found is absolute. I realize these cycles are a manifestation of birth, death and re-birth. Currently, I’m in a new re-birth cycle with different motivations and inspirations. But on this journey I overstand it would be counter-productive to succeed alone. As the classic axiom goes “each one, teach one”.
My current focus has been in commercial and residential real estate. But the great online content has inspired the entrepreneur in me to design a new realty in the technology world. There are to many blogs and websites to give credit, some popular and others under the radar: Donorschoose, Tim Ferriss, David Bullock, TED, Guy Kawasaki, Vimeo, ZenHabits are just a small few.
The TAO of…
It is stated that,
“The Tao that can be explained with words is not the Tao.”
However, it can be known and its principles followed. Tao represents the ability to understand your limitations and see life’s path with clarity and simplicity. Many also refer to the Tao as the “Way” or “Path”.
In The TAO OF TALANI blog I share my experiences as a humble student, emphasizing there is no wrong or right way to achieve your goals. The blog is specifically designed for self-empowerment, entrepreneurs and lifehackers seeking to create a productive new reality.
My objective is to be an asset to the collective by sharing knowledge from leading thinkers and doers. The Masters are able to find inspiration in everything whether in a book, music or a blog.

The Goals…
Goal setting has always been an instrumental tool in my progress in business and life. More importantly, writing your goals down daily will expedite your goal completion. This habit will assist in your visualization process. Even more effective is to speak your goals into the universe, which activates the Law of Attraction. It’s been reported that compounding writing and speaking your goals, increases the likelihood of accomplishment by 1000 percent.
Here are some of my goals:

2. Invest or Joint Venture in an extraordinary entrepreneurship with a technology start-up or innovation (Silicon Valley type). Students or unproven teams with unproven concepts are encouraged to contact.
3. To network aggressively with entrepreneurs, lifehackers, creative and critical thinking individuals.
4. Design a contemporary Green home to live off the grid.
5. Become a hands-on mentor for 1-2 underprivileged young males.
6. Learn to meditate.
